Retro-Commissioning (RCx)
Commissioning for new buildings, is an organized process. First, facility performance objectives are identified and then a methodology for testing and verifying those objectives is determined. Lastly, documentation of the process is completed. However, retro-commissioning requires more detailed expertise as it is performed on facilities that are already in operation, and is typically in response to problems that exist within building systems.
